Position Details and Compensation

• Job Title: Senior Companion / In-Home Care Helper
• Service Areas: Nassau County and Suffolk County, NY
• Hourly Pay Rate: $18.65 to $20.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Flexible schedules with both full-time and part-time opportunities available

About the Role

Senior Companions are responsible for providing high-quality companionship and essential emotional support to elderly clients within their own residences. Daily operational duties include assisting with routine non-medical daily activities, providing reliable transportation to local appointments, helping with light housekeeping, and engaging in positive social interactions to improve the overall quality of life for Long Island seniors.

Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications

We are actively seeking dependable individuals who share our deep passion for delivering dignified, respectful care. Applicants should meet the following professional criteria:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication abilities
• Empathy and deep compassion for the elderly population
• Proven ability to provide genuine emotional support and companion assistance
• Demonstrated experience in caregiving, companion services, or a related healthcare field
• A strong, reliable work ethic and flexibility in scheduling availability
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required
